I mean we’ve heard time and time again that institutional investors stay away from investing in Edmonton. So if our solution is to get new and interesting non-local investors who want to take a chance here then why not.

I’m bullish on downtown Edmonton so maybe they see something others don’t.

Wish I could like this post 1000 times. Build partnerships and relationships with other parties, stop chasing the money that has never ever wanted to be here.

@Dubas said the tower isn't far behind so hopefully that means a DP submission later this winter or early spring, with a building permit following to allow for construction to start in the fall. They don't need to excavate so they can technically start structural steel next winter, but hopefully it's sooner.
