Drove by there this morning and thought it was GORGEOUS! Less gorgeous were the crowds of druggies grabbing their early morning fix. Sorry about the quality - filthy car windows.

I keep wondering why neither of our lit-up bridges (Walterdale and high level) do anything fun. There's a bridge driving into Calgary's downtown (not a clue what it's called, sorry, but it looks like a smaller low level bridge) and the lights on it are lovely. They're playful. They dance! The HL lights are rarely up to anything interesting and Walterdale is white 99% of the time. I saw it doing beautiful northern lights once or twice but the rest of the time it's just...there.

Do you recall the waterfall on the HLB? It was there in the early/mid-2000s and was pretty cool.
