those tower separation distances aren't awful and there are plenty of precedents of those distances being approved by the city elsewhere, but they are also generally unnecessary on a site this size. Aspen Ridge should be able to accommodate 25m here with 3 towers.

Heritage designation talk: To TEYCC in February 2026. Yes, the City Planners seem unaware that that block of Eastern Avenue is now called Old Foundry Road......

Just a friendly reminder that since the province tried to demolish these heritage buildings by cloak and dagger in 2020 because of the "urgent" need for affordable housing and secretly sold the site to Aspen Ridge after gifting them an undemocratic MZO, the sites have sat vacant as surface parking lots, endlessly blighting the neighbourhood, all for a proposal that amounts to three overbuilt, architecturally garbage towers. <3

6 Years later and still not even a shovel on the ground. Such a blatant disgusting abuse of legislation.

What happened to the pressing need of housing Doug? I thought the MZO was so exceptionally required here because Toronto's red-tape was getting in the way.

For the love of God, how long does it take for the RCMP to complete an investigation. We're going on Year #3 for crying out loud.

Like with a lot of things with this government, there was never a real crises for them to begin with...outside of palms wanting to be greased.
