Not sure how much detail you can go into, but since these are branded residences, are they going to sell them pre-construction and start once they hit a certain threshold? Or will it go ahead on the hotel component alone, and sell the residences as they go.
 
The more I look at these images, the more I think the renderings are doing a lot of heavy lifting to get everyone excited, but the end result probably won't be anything that special from an architectural or material standpoint. I assume we'll get something similar in quality to the JW Marriot in Edmonton...tall, blue, but kind of generic.

But as long as we're the tallest, that's cool with me.

I do hope the sidewalk is actually pavers and not concrete but that is unlikely.

Nah the materials you see are what you'll get. Hotel brands like this are significantly more strict on curb appeal and frontage , if it doesn't look and feel luxurious, people wont pay the luxurious price

It would be nice to see more normalization of riding bikes in regular clothes/suits versus the portrayal of them as the lycra crowd all the time. Transportation, not recreation.
 
Interesting not doing both at the same time. Hopefully they are planning on most of the construction of the 2nd tower before the first opens. Wouldn’t want to be paying top dollar to watch and listen to all that while staying in the finished one.
 
So 273 is the final Height?

Lower than 277 but still higher than Stantec Tower,
Also Taller tower and Entire Podium as Phase 1 is a good sign

That leaves the shorter tower being set for a future phase which means if the 2nd phase is more to round out the Project instead of Gatekeeping ambition behind Lesser builds
