Anyone know anything about the schedule for the park? The city’s updates page is not very helpful last I checked, stating that the park should be done by end of year as it seems to be part of a batch of new parks.

It's a little joke about how sensitive the times we live in are. It wasn't aimed at any particular community on our fair planet.
 
I had a hunch in the back of my mind it was a joke, but I responded accordingly. The artist made no point to plaigarize - I'm familiar with his work, and have a strong understand og the geology of the work.

Yes, we're in very...odd times, wherein it's almost a joke how flexible supposedly fixed concepts and institutions can become.
 
...sometimes they don't feel flexible enough. But that's a debate for another day and another thread.
