Damn this project was killing it until these stupid trims around the slider doors. Anyone know why they didnt require trim on the sliders with cantilevered balconies above but needed them them for the Juliet balconies? I assume it is just to give the Juliet balcony something to attach to that doesnt create a penetration through the vertical metal siding that would be challenging to stop water ingress. Might have answered my own question unless someone else has a reason. Looks fine if they are colour matched to the metal siding.
Ugh, thinking about it, they will probably leave those portions white on the black vertical metal siding sections - as they have already attached the railing and it would be a nightmare to mask off the railing and glass insert to colour match the exterior trim. Bummer and looks like a mistake not an intentional decision
Someone with a zoom lens could confirm, but I walked by today and it looks like the "mural" in the renders is actually some sort of tiles on the facade.
Honestly, this thing looks like a giant pile of shit and probably the worst looking building on University Ave. No coherence, terrible materials (minus the one small brick corner section), and mediocre craftsmanship. I give this turd a 4/10.
