Overall is building is looking really really nice. I'll be very curious to see what it will look like fully completed and the landscaping and sidewalk around the building as well.

Between this and Allard Hall, MacEwan has some nice newer buildings.

I hope that their next focus is building out and up on the 105st/104Ave corner to make it more urban and connected.

My guess is the next building to go will be a science building.

^ Yes. And I *think* the plan is for it to go at 105 st. and 104 Ave. connected to the building that currently holds the small amount of labs they have. If they stay true to plans, it will be a grand entrance to the campus from the east. Of course how long until this happens largely depends on the provincial gov’t, so I wouldn’t hold my breath on anything being announced or starting anytime soon. Especially with NAIT and Norquest still waiting on their buildings, plus we know the U of A has plans for biosci and a new business building that they’d like to get moving on.

I would rather they leave that corner alone. I love how mature the trees are getting, it’s actually a nice bit of green space. MacEwan has other land they can build on.

They need to take over that parking lot on the NW corner of 105/105 (where Wonder Harbour Comics was located) and build something magnificant.

I would be really happy if they eliminated the parking lot on the MacEwan property between 104 and 105 ave
