I'm sure they could make use of the "Landscaped Area"

My memory was correct*

Phase 1 demolition of the Tivoli Theatre is almost complete and the plaza is slated for phase 2 of the demolition in near future.

Pet Valu pet store has been moved to 610 King Street, August 8 sushi restaurant could be moved just a block to new The Design District, and rest of small food businesses and a mobile shop could be moved elsewhere?

I hope the home at 115 Hughson can be retained even though it’s proposed to be demolished. I think it was rehabbed 10 years ago.

I was downtown this afternoon and saw them taking down the last bits of the East wall, this site will probably be an empty lot by the weekend. Also noticed a new For Lease sign in the window of the old Pet Valu in the strip mall next door, seems a bit weird if they're planning to demolish that soon as well.

I don't think there's any intention on moving on this anytime soon. The condo market has collapsed, and while rentals are still in demand, the market has slowed and only so many rentals can be built before there's to much supply. With the building at Barton/James, the Coppley, the building at John/Wilson, and Cannon/Ferguson, not to mention I'm sure many units in the Design District will be rented out, we'll likely be seeing 600-1000 rentals come online in the next few years downtown, and I don't think this is going to be another one, waiting instead for another bit of demand.
