There is no way the apartment at the corner of Augusta and Paul Ln Gardens will be demolished in 2026.... or any of the buildings on Paul Ln within a year

The townhouses don't look bad but they were nicer in the renderings, before they added those protruding segments above the ground floor. It's a shame they couldn't follow through on what was a refreshingly simple, elegant design.

New affordable co-op opens in Alexandra Park

The City of Toronto’s affordable housing agency opened a new building in Alexandra Park on Monday to house residents of Toronto Community Housing Corporation (TCHC)-owned townhomes that are slated to be demolished, or already have been.

The new building at 130 Augusta Ave. will be the future home for some residents of the Atkinson Housing Co-operative, a tenant-led co-op that took over management of the TCHC townhomes in Alexandra Park in 2003.

-----------
TCHC and its development partner Tridel are currently in the second phase of the revitalization plan for Alexandra Park, which includes the replacement of 806 social housing units and the construction of 1,540 new market-rate units. The project — expected to be complete by 2038 — will also include a new community centre and public park, as well as new connector streets.

Alongside the Atkinson Co-op-run building at 130 Augusta Ave., Tridel has completed construction on a private condo building at 115 Denison Ave., which includes 186 market units and two affordable units. The two buildings are connected by a shared fifth-floor terrace that features community gardens.
