from what i know Value engineering is used to cut costs where possible without compromising the quality - I am not an expert in it but have used the concept in the past. Amazing the efficiencies one finds when you get the whole team in a room and improve communication and cooperation ...and are all pushing and focused in the same direction. But proof will be when we start to see the results- I personally think they have a reputation to maintain -so think they will do whatever they need to ensure this is a top notch project!!Given WestBank's reputation on the West Coast, they value-engineered the crap out of their units...![]()

The materials seem unique. We need more skilled workers and the completion efficiency needs to be way up. Better action! There is so much work that needs to be complete . I get there’s alot of safety measures that go into these buildings but at the pace of a tortoise come on people. We need a massive amount of the public’s voice and to deliberately question this slow progress. They need a kick in the a** government and contractors and who ever else is in chargeI was wondering this too. Or is there something new and experimental with this particular building such as the materials and methods which is a source for delays?
You’re right!There's a million things more important to advocate for than faster completion of a high end condo.
