I have a sneaking suspicion that is similar to what the balcony cladding will look like.

I recall the architect saying that the design of these was inspired by the sails on a sailboat, and the slightly curved balcony cladding in that style would certainly give that effect.

If pulled off correctly this could look good. Not great, but good. (Also though I only say that in relation to the towers - this affordable rental building doesn't have the same curves or balcony cladding, and I don't think it looks good, but it'll be tucked far enough away that I'll forgive HPA if the towers look good).
