Well time will tell I guess, it's not like we haven't seen very slow construction on other sites here in the city before. If this was a Gene Dub site it would probably take at least a few more years.

^ for real. The developer's Altairus project has reached occupancy and is now leasing, so ideally construction on this project will move much more expeditiously

I don't understand why some things go slowly. Doesn't the interest rate costs of dragging things out soon start to outweigh other possible benefits?

Fun fact: Our U2s are technically a sub-class called RTE 1 (Calgary's are RTC 1). This is because each city requested modifications from the original U2 class. Many changes were due to our much harsher winters than Germany's (e.g., extra heating and double windows), but one unrelated change was to disconnect the passenger alarm levers from the emergency braking system. Now *that* would have been a great way to improve my picture quality
