Definitely hope this happens this year, as it has been stated it is sad when a building gets torn down that looks okay at least and then nothing gets built for a few years afterwards. The best example of quick demolition and quick construction which is what we should be seeing is the lotus and the lilac downtown.

I realize there can be delays after demolition with things like permits or financing, but it really shouldn't take more than a year or two at most to build. Faster is impressive, longer than that makes we wonder if the developer is an idiot.
