Work on the Bay East Teamway lobby is wrapping up. Escalator stairs were disassembled and are now being reassembled.

Looks like they’re just correcting deficiencies before opening up at least this part of the lobby. I noticed Presto machines were just added.

Meanwhile a corridor from Bay Street to the lobby has been opened while work continues on paving the plaza.

New renderings of the laneway, the lobby, the park and its cafe, lookout and skating rink and views of the park from the north tower.

More deficiencies are being corrected in the lobby connecting to the bus station. The escalators have been reassembled and now they're breaking tile flooring along the doors as it didn't line up once the doors were installed. Measure once, cut twice!

Otherwise, seems to be getting wrapped up. Equipment is being hauled away and they're clearing the space. Presto readers are installed.

The park is nearly finished

The cafe cladding is “fine”, not what I would’ve chosen but the counter makes up for it. It’s the same sculpted yellow cedar as the benches.

Certainly looks like it’ll open by Spring.
