Possibly nothing but I thought I'd mention anyway. Walking to work this morning, I noticed an entourage of suits touring the retail space. Is Tridel shopping the retail and hotel or do they already have prospective tenants they're negotiating with? Nothing has come across my radar which I've been finding increasingly odd given the tower is set for substantial completion Spring of next year and the retail space could be made available today. In my industry, when a space like this becomes available, word of mouth carries quickly through C&W or CBRE back channels. So far, complete silence.

768 Yonge, the south-most unit in the brick building that's a part of the One Bloor West site, has come across my desk as available. It's not being formally offered yet but it's put out there to gauge interest and give the usual suspects first dibs. Nothing on the main retail space on Bloor.

There is a hotel deal pending, as I understand it. But last I heard it hadn't closed.

Photos (mostly) taken today, Saturday (Mar. 14). Can't recall having to skip a day of shooting because the top wasn't visible since I started taking weekly shots of 1 Bloor W some 5 1/2 years ago, maybe happened once or twice... and now it's happened 3 times in the last 4 weeks! Though I did post a set of disappearing-into-the-clouds shots a month ago... Some progress since I posted a week ago, cladding now has appeared on level 83 on the south side, the penultimate floor.

Included below are a couple taken during the near-blizzard yesterday at noon or so... the rest taken on sunny Saturday!

Not sure who you work for, but brokers in my office (predominantly retail/commercial) toured this space in January and we are all aware that it’s available for lease. Tridel is actively, though quietly, marketing the space for lease.
