The water is looking good again but someone thought they could barricade the entrances and take ownership of the dog park for the night. That’s a first for me.

Something caught my eye as I was perusing the 2026 City of Toronto Budget: that fits in this thread. This is capital spending, the first budget number is $1,500,000, and is for this year , with $300,000 next year.

Not sure what its for, the only think I'm aware of that was outright cut from the project was the washroom.
1.8M for a new washroom building would fit, but in most other parks they identify standalone washroom projects, so it could be something else.
You could inquire w/the mayor's office.

When I saw the 1.8M for Love Park improvements this year, I had been hoping for the washrooms that were cut during VE'ing..... sigh.
