I was in Barrie last year it looks way different from 2022 ! So many bridges that cross Highway 400 are being reconstructed for the widening project. They must be on the Dunlop street bridge by now
Just wait until next year, bayfield street has almost 2,000 apartment units being constructed. It’s already a nightmare to drive on.

I'm 33 years old and for the entire 33 years of my life bayfield Street has sucked to drive on can't imagine it getting worse it's a little bit better now that there is more options on mapleview to spread out the commercial traffic but it's still ridiculous

No way there's anywhere near 2000 units underway
So this complex alone has 932 units in it.
I'm pretty sure that the rose street affordable housing project that is nearby has at least another 600 units that are being offered. then you have 115 bayfield Street as well as residences at Owens starting then the second tower for waterfront.so he might be pretty close they're actually might be more I know that there's a lot of stuff that got hit by the market crash that probably will sit for another couple years now but there still is a fair bit going on

The Rose Street project is about 200 units I believe, but yeah, seems there's indeed about 1,500 units underway.
