I'll be curious how they manage a phased build with the merged podium...moreso how it'll look in the interm...or is the idea that they'll have started the second tower before the first is finished?

Last I saw I believe they were going to open the towers a year or so apart, so tower 2 will probably start construction before tower 1 is complete.
 
This might give a clue to how they will pull it off.

I imagine they will build the entire parkade and podium in one go, then focus on one tower first, then the other. If they can stage it so trades can go right from the first building to the second, that would be ideal. Going to cost a lot of money to build this though...

Looks like I waited to long to post that response, was beaten to it! :)

The DP is progressing quickly and there is now an expectation that a building permit application will be submitted by early June pending unforeseen delays. Keep in mind that a DP only needs to pass the advertising period before a partial bp is considered.

I would expect to see construction starting this summer, soon after stampede. The taller building will be constructed first.

Edit: I should add that I am working with incomplete information so this is still a prediction. But there are indications this is moving faster than the scheduled construction date of January 2027 shown in previous posts.
