I assure you ticket prices will not be lower as a result of a corporate sponsorship :)
All else being equal, without corporate sponsorship? Ticket prices will be even higher. It's fine to complain about corporate sponsorship, but keeping a facility sponsor free essentially means the public or someone else is paying to keep that space sponsor free.

I'm very grateful, even with the subtle adjustments to the panelling, how tasteful and human scale the design in. As an arena guy, i pinch myself. We're lucky, most arenas dont blend in with the streetscape the way this one does. These 2 angles are by far my favorite. The landscaping takes it over the top

That nightime picture (scotsman hill -ish) is going to really pop, especially with future development to the west and north

Considering most Flames games will feature the arena at night with the Flame accents lit up on the facade, I really don't mind that they went with essentially the same material between the fire and ice sections. It also makes a lot of sense to do so, considering a white surface likely reflects the light back the best, and the need for both sections to be lit uniformly.

Looks like some of the folds in the paneled areas have been flattened. Wasn't there also supposed to be an area mix of matt, satin and gloss paneling to achieve the "ice" part of the theme?

Really not a fan of the east side and you just know HNIC is going to love to show that aerial
It will be a prismatic/holo white instead of the mix.

They won't look as similar as in the renderings, silver vs white.
