They aren't even done pouring it. They also haven't built the parapet yet but in the end it will stick out 7 meters which is even more than it sticks out now. Just horrible

Maybe if they aren't extending the cladding past the roof they'll clad the mech box is something nice.
Either way, we're not going to see for sure what they're doing until after the cladding reaches the roof.

I'm curious why the roof slab is so much thicker than what's shown in the cross section in the plans.

I don't think it actually is thicker, I looks like its just the little "wall" circled below that makes it look thicker than it actually is, you can kinda see the outline of the slab in the pics as well.

You can see the concrete wall in @kotsy’s photo.
The drawing looks like a 1.83m curtain wall vs a possibly shorter concrete wall but the principal is the same.
