Hideous building. The only thing good about it is the street level. And that's nothing special.

This is the wrong place for residential. I really hope it isn't approved. If anything, a hotel would be more suitable.

Downtown Grocery Store List (current + proposed)

Has anyone heard what's happening with the grocery store that was to come in the bottom of the new condo just east of Church St. on Shuter St?

The length of the boom on the crane is so short haha.

Were they not put up after the van attack on Yonge Street? I feel like that's when they decided to put these things up all over the place instead of building proper barriers.

Has anyone heard any news on the retail for this? The supposed grocery store still hasn't happened. The windows are still papered over the way they've been since this building finished.

They have been doing work in the buildings on site. Looks to me like they're taking core samples, but might be more than that.

Huh? How are they not in great shape?

330-350 Rathburn Rd W (Mississauga, Amacon Development, ?,?)

Is this even true? Where is the evidence that this is actually happening?

UrbanToronto contributor Jasonzed - Jason Zytynsky - has passed away

This is awful news. He was a huge contributor here and he will be missed. I hope whatever happened was painless for him.

10 Dundas East (former Toronto Life Square, Ent Prop Trust, 10s, Baldwin & Franklin)

Looks like one section has stopped working on the screen.

They might be staying, but not in this location!

I did not expect someone else would have already updated this haha. @brianyyz you clearly live somewhere directly above me! They're over in this corner now.

Can we move messages about the privacy issue to another thread and leave this one about the construction related to TEC?

    Toronto | 60 Queen East | 185.9m | 57s | Bazis | Core Architects

I really don't like the low rise portion above the historic buildings. It floats over top of them, and doesn't fit or match. Ugly. The tower should just go straight up behind the buildings and get rid of those boxy parts.

Look what I found on Bazis website.

The way I understood his question, is that he was asking about sharing photos that are posted here on Urban Toronto that are also hosted here on Urban Toronto's forum.

    Dark Mode option

I too would love a dark mode of the forum.

The west and east parts are what makes this look interesting if you ask me, and the angled roofline. The TD logos are going to make the building more ugly, not less. That's what happens when you reduce the height of the building.

    Toronto | Pinnacle One Yonge | 312.5m | 95s | Pinnacle | Hariri Pontarini

FYI I was referring to the flat portions, which look like precast, not metal. Obviously the three dimensional portions are not precast. Interesting to know that even the flat portions are metal.
