Guys, is this really going to take another 5 years to complete? Based on the pics, they're actually progressing pretty quickly.

Although I'm biased because I bought a unit here, I love the location of this development! Yonge Street, at a major Jewish and Persian hub, right beside the 407, right beside Langstaff SS, right beside Richmond Hill Station, YRT stop literally 1-3 minutes away, and beside $10m+ Upland homes.

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

Meh, saying prices will skyrocket until 2023 is really optimistic. The only reason for the bidding wars is a lack of supply and make up for the beginning of last year. Low interest rates doesn't eliminate the fact that you need a downpayment to buy. And just because someone is paying $1.5m...

Coronavirus and the impact to the real estate market

I don't agree. This is not a "regular" market. Whenever you see bidding wars on old 30 year old homes in the suburbs, that isn't a regular market. When the majority get in, you get out. Builders are smart. Their prices are inflated by at least 15% right now. The crash happens, they go...

Coronavirus and the impact to the real estate market

Not sure how people are rationalizing selling their house and then immediately going and buying another house... You're selling at a high, and buying at a high. Just go rent and ride it out for a couple of months. With respect to downtown Condos, wait until Feb and if you have cash, just buy...

    The United Building

Anyone interested in purchasing an assignment at The United Building? It's a sold out model on a high floor. Willing to let it go for purchase price.

What are peoples thoughts about buying in this building as an investment now? I personally believe it's still a great opportunity. Occupancy is set for Aug 1, 2023. Thoughts?

The One - Mizrahi Developments - (Real Estate) -

Guys, curious to know your thoughts about potential resale values at The One when it's built. I personally think it's going to be through the roof. I wouldn't be surprised if their $3m suites sell for $4m, etc. It's currently selling for around $2200/sqft for $3-$5m suites.

    Baby, we got a bubble!?

Agreed. The people that think homes in Bradford, Innisfil, barrie, etc. are going to increase while downtown is going to drop, are very naive. The one thing that annoys me the most is that everyone is a realtor these days. Everyone suddenly knows about real estate. Lol, it's hilarious. WFH is...

Yeah my thoughts exactly... not sure about resale values in 2 years. Idk, tough one.

Guys, help me out here. Should I get a unit? It will be purely an investment. I just feel like it’s overpriced... especially the non-lake view units.
