It’s not sold out, they are still marketing the project.

Cresford always had nice lobbies (e.g. Casa 1, 2, and 3).

I’m just glad the materials are high quality.

Lots of progress on the south podium.

That piece is so ugly and forgettable I almost forgot it existed until this comment.

This project is moving quickly, usually there are workers on site 7 days a week. Kudos to MOD. Some pouring being done today as they progress above grade.

In other news, the ground level windows are being wrapped in an opaque white film today. Tim Cook doesn’t want us to know what’s inside.

Meh. People here complain that all new condos look the same. Then they’ll build ones that look different and people will say they look “out of place”. There’s no winning. 1BE also isn’t that skinny, it’s 9x as tall as it is wide. Billionaire row buildings in Manhattan are way skinnier, such as...

This render of the view from Yonge/Charles shows it pretty well. 1BE looks best from the North / South sides since it looks skinnier. It’s crazy how short it looks compared to 1BW (and this is without the height increase granted)

Well, it’s probably the most complicated building being built in the city, and the nicest. So there’s that. At least there’s been some progress. For comparison, here’s a photo I took from Sept 23, 2020

    Toronto | Bloor Street Neighbourhood Condos | ?m | 32s | Cresford | Northgrave

All three Casa buildings are nicer… so clearly Cresford made the right choice.

    Still pouring. Quite the operation.

Yonge-Dundas Square (Brown + Storey Architects)

Most ridiculous "statistic" I've ever seen on this forum

Yonge-Dundas Square (Brown + Storey Architects)

I'm not sure why striving for a knock-off Times Square is a good thing. There's nothing redeeming about Times Square. Ask anyone from NYC.

    Toronto | Wellesley on the Park | 194.15m | 60s | Lanterra | KPMB

Not related to the park, but the building has already run into some issues with water damage. Two standpipe leaks occurred last week on some lower floors which took all 6 elevators out of service. Only 3 have been restored. Certainly sucks for those living on high floors.

It was also said in the meeting that some of the Section 37 Benefits (I think $20 million) were going to be used to pay for the PATH connection. Not sure how that benefits anyone except those living in The One, but anyways. Now it appears the connection isn’t going to happen. Maybe it can...

From the presentation just now. By next summer, they anticipate the overhead protection around Bloor / Yonge across from 1BE will be removed, with the only construction site requirements being in front of the heritage building (shown in red below).

    Toronto | CIBC SQUARE | 241.39m | 50s | Hines | WilkinsonEyre

Not CIBC square but there’s no thread for the 2 Bloor West office tower. I didn’t even notice they changed this logo .
