    John Street Revitalization

I think they’re trying to line it up so just as the revitalization is about complete the new condo at John and Richmond can start and tear up a finished section and pave it over with asphalt. It’d be bizarre if they decided plan ahead and mitigated that

I’d be really interested in that album! You could try Imgur, at worst it’ll be split into 2/3 albums. You could also post the iCloud link (if that’s allowed by UT), cause I would love to browse through.

John street between King and Front is still being worked on for utilities, I believe it is the last stretch of work though.

These days, I find myself getting more excited for new buildings to cover up whatever disaster it sits next to rather than the new building itself. Toronto architecture is in a sad state (for the most part)

Actually read this on BlogTO first, looks like this will be Curio by Hilton, an upscale marquee of theirs.

    Toronto | Mirvish Village (Honest Ed's Redevelopment) | 85.04m | 26s | Westbank | Henriquez Partners

This project looks way taller than it actually is cause Bloor St is criminally underdeveloped; especially as a major street with a subway line underneath.

    Rogers Centre Renovations

I wonder how feasible is it to stretch a thin white fabric across the interior steel supports to make the interior more friendly less industrial. Projections and lights onto the ceiling would also pop a lot more across a smooth white surface. Perhaps not as show-stopping as a transparent roof...

These can't be real proposals. They look like 2nd year university projects, why does everything look so temporary or gimmicky? They're neither creating spaces people will come to visit or spaces that people walking by will likely find interesting or engaging.

    Did someone says MEZZANINE?

Not surprised to see all those balconies added. Do hope the balcony-free faces have quality glass like Theatre Park but I have a feeling it’ll be more like a 219m of grey window wall.

Farm Boy expansion in the GTA

That’s extremely close to their Harbourfront Centre store at Queens Quay and York, but with all those condos popping up it makes sense. Also gives me hope that the Farm Boy rumour in Metro City Hall comes true. One of the opposing thoughts was it was too close to their Bathurst and Front store.

I’m sorry for posting another ad but surely this is false advertising!?

Here are some run and gun shots, looks like the windows with the black metal panels for the main tower have arrived (but I might be mistake).

Very torn with this project. I really do love this new glass—could belong in New York—but wish they could've done this to another building

Noticed the article includes a diagram outline a 12-storey proposal on 16 Oxley St, is there an UrbanToronto page for that site?
