    Calgary | Block 23 - Central Park | 12m | 3s | Gibbs Gage

Nail salon and wax bar. Standard for all new developments these days lol.

    Calgary | Credo | 18m | 5s | Zeidler

One thing for sure, the downtown views will be fantastic from this place.

I’m guessing there is a supply issue with exterior materials? Catalyst, Era and this building have been covered in Tyvek for a while.

Will be nice to see Two house back again.

    Urban Development and Proposals Discussion

I think it was Richard White. I don't want to go through his blog posts, but I remember him writing a blog about how the new path section wasn't in use and was a waste of money
  6. Stephen Ave

    Calgary | ALT Hotel University District | 48.77m | 15s | Groupe Germain

That's fantastic. This and Gramercy going ahead, combined with Capella finishing up is going to make U/D feel much more complete.

    General Construction Updates

I've heard they are putting an outdoor patio space in that spot.

    Covid-19

It's possible as many as a third of Calgarians have already had covid, or maybe even as many as half the population, but that's still only half. Still potential for a lot more people to die or get sick from it, so I wouldn't say that it's run out of steam yet. As for blaming the anti-vaxxers, I...

    Calgary & Alberta Economy

Looking back at a post by Surreal, I see different numbers for Calgary coming from this website In the reports at the other site, Calgary's numbers look more competitive relative to the other 4 markets. Both sets of data appear to be related to VC funding, curious what the difference is?

    Calgary & Alberta Economy

Vancouver and Toronto are where most of the money is going, but good that Calgary is on the list. I wonder where some of the other cities like Edmonton, Ottawa or Winnipeg sit?

    Statscan numbers

I don't know the formula for the commute numbers, but that's what it comes down to.

    Calgary | Elva | 18m | 5s | Wexford Developments

Two more floors would have been nice.

    Calgary | Argyle | 22m | 6s | Avi Urban | Gibbs Gage

A Shoppers' wouldn't surprise me at all. It would come in handy for the neighborhood.

That is awesome. Of all the proposal around UD, this is the one I'd like to see go ahead the most.

    Calgary | Kingsland Assisted Living | 18m | 5s | Davignon Martin

Lol so true. Seriously though, a lot the projects for seniors homes projects are nicer than then regular ones. Wellings, and the Edward for example. Riverwalk isn't complete yet, but looks solid.

    Calgary | Calgary Event Centre | 36.85m | 11s | CSEC | HOK

I'm down with the @ShotArch version.

    Calgary | Northland Village Redevelopment | 19m | 6s | DIALOG

Sunnyside is easily the best example we have of well integrated transit within a neighborhood hub. Westbrook could be a nice example if it ever gets going and Walmart is gone.
