WEGO is operated jointly by Niagara Falls Transit and the Niagara Parks Commission. The Green route uses buses leased to and operated by the Parks Commission, while the rest of the routes use buses owned and operated by Niagara Falls Transit.

Anyone know what happened to the GO Transit sculpture? It’s been covered in plastic and tape for a number of weeks.

Saw this last weekend too. Traffic is so bad on Lakeshore, GO cancelled service to Union and rerouted the buses.

GO Transit really has an aversion to serving their Toronto stations with buses. Even during disruptions they just assume everyone can take the TTC and go straight to the 905. This is also frustrating during late night Train-Bus service.

I wouldn’t call a 40 minute walk walking distance. Bayly Street is also very pedestrian unfriendly.

Even 12 car trains would be nice. I still don’t know why this hasn’t been done.

I have to say, despite the good $10/15 deal to Niagara Falls, the chaotic service stories have made me avoid it so far. A packed train and long lineups doesn’t sound appealing to me.

The TTC could at least start to have a basic security presence. Like I said last week: a year of riding the TTC regularly and I’ve see zero security or enforcement staff. That would go a long way to at least make people feel safe to ride the system.
