Due to how the supports work, there is a floor with no corner columns every 5 (ish) floors. The floors just below the start of new V columns (sorry, I don't know the terminology) don't need vertical supports because theoretically, V holds up said floor/ceiling. Not sure if that made any sense...

I've rotated the birds-eye view photo from the previous post, and it definitely matches the 'master plan' seen in the docs for the 6-storey 'office' building proposed. I've never seen this view of the site before. Very curious to see how this progresses in the future (and the # of parking spaces...

A good portion of this has been changed by now. The Office/hotel has been cancelled (or pushed way into the future), and the 'future retail' in front of the renovated main entrance has been switched into a 6-storey office building and a green space.

Mostly done with the podiums for the first 2 towers, so they should really start rising in the new year. Looking forward to seeing how different these look with their girthy floorplates compare to CG Tower's slender and tapered profile. It should be a fun next year in the VMC

Alright, this might be a stupid question, but I will ask nonetheless. Are different types of concrete used for different parts of the tower? Like floor plates vs. elevator core vs. floor corners vs. mega column filler etc? Thanks in advance to whoever answers!

Really wish we had way to see this view but 10 years ago to see all the changes in the frame. Most of the buildings over 15 storeys are from the last decade at this angle. Crazy
