I might be in the minority, but I'm glad to see an electronic billboard added here. We don't have many in this city, outside of Dundas Square which is simultaneously too much but also not enough (to be its own proper landmark, like Picadilly/Times Square). Not that I want too many more of these...

    Toronto | 15-17 Elm | 99m | 30s | Fora | PARTISANS

I love Partisans' work wherever I get the chance to encounter it (Vela, Bar Raval). This is a very cool project, and very much in their style.

Making sure you're never too far from seeing a TD logo whenever downtown... Of course, I love this project, but still hilarious

    Toronto | Scotiabank North Tower at Bay Adelaide Centre | 140.2m | 32s | Brookfield | KPMB

Shame how boring the Scotiabank wordmark is. Especially next to an equally boring Deloitte logo. Just relatively generic sans serif wordmarks passing for logos now (these staid corporates aren't the only offenders; luxury retail brands have gone the same direction).

Handsome tower. Looks great. Love more varied proposals like this!

Even just a hedge of bushes would be better, but of course I agree either way that we shouldn't have patios this closed off, period. That said, Boston Pizza's patio next to Rogers Centre is pretty closed off on the Blue Jays Way side.

    Toronto | CIBC SQUARE | 241.39m | 50s | Hines | WilkinsonEyre

I'm sure the next step is to wrap the logo in colour, but it actually looks great here in white.

    Toronto | 160 Front West | 239.87m | 46s | Cadillac Fairview | AS + GG

Looking absolutely massive and beautiful, and also exposes the neighbouring RBC Centre for how boring of a design it is...

Wow! Almost reminds me of the Met Breuer's (formerly Whitney Museum) restaurant space in New York. Underground, concrete-heavy: https://wwd.com/eye/lifestyle/gallery/flora-bar-and-cafe-opens-in-met-breuer-10660302/

I'm around this area quite a bit, and have to say, this building already has a huge imposing feel on the area. Bigger than photos can do justice. Very excited for this project. The bank towers deliver yet again.

I was just thinking this – not sure if intentional, or if I'm reading too much into it, but this almost feels like an homage to the big Queen's Park buildings along Bay and Wellesley just up the street (Mowat Block, etc). All in all, love it. Very unique new building going up.

Westbank is putting so many other developers to shame. Talk about overdelivering on your renderings!

Toronto | AGO: Dani Reiss Modern and Contemporary Gallery | ?m | ?s | AGO | Diamond Schmitt

Really excited to read about this proposed expansion. The AGO has a really strong collection and we only ever see a small sliver of it (not unique to us, of course... true of every major museum in the world), and I find I often only go for the exhibitions because I've already seen so much of the...

I believe Union Park is slated to be connected to the PATH! But agreed, just extend the plans one block more and it's to The Well at that point.

    Toronto | 15 Charles East | 174m | 54s | Republic | IBI Group

LOVE the colour (holding out hope it's not value engineered down). Terra cotta red is gorgeous! Charles Street has changed a TON in the past 15 years. Completely mammoth towers down the entire stretch from Ted Rogers Way to Yonge now.

    Toronto | The One | 338.3m | 94s | Mizrahi Developments | Foster + Partners

First time poster, long time lurker of UrbanToronto :) It's wild how quickly One Bloor East's height will simply blend into the rest of the Yorkville skyline. I recall how groundbreakingly tall it was when it was first completed, and in these latest renders I actually had to look for it...
