wow they're actually building this thing

    Toronto | Union Centre | 298m | 54s | Westbank | Bjarke Ingels Group

These diagrams would be more useful if they only showed buildings currently under construction (for new buildings).

    Toronto | 11 YV | 213m | 62s | Metropia | Sweeny &Co

I was being fecetious, this thing has been in the discourse since 2019.

    Toronto | 11 YV | 213m | 62s | Metropia | Sweeny &Co

Theyve been building this now for decades it seems and it's barely left off the ground.
  5. D

    Toronto | 160 Front West | 239.87m | 46s | Cadillac Fairview | AS + GG

This thing has been going up fast.

    Toronto | 145 Wellington West | 213.05m | 61s | H&R REIT | PARTISANS

Yea expecting they somehow turn it into another generic condo tower.

    Forma (Great Gulf/DREAM/Westdale) - Real Estate -

What's the square footage on that 1br? Care to share some details on the plans and pricing out of curiosity?
  8. D

    Toronto | Forma | 308m | 84s | Great Gulf | Gehry Partners

It's been ten years and nothing has happened with this.
  9. D

    Toronto | The Rosedale on Bloor | 185.92m | 55s | Gupta | IBI Group

Well, this turned out to be another generic condo building.
  10. D

    Toronto | CIBC SQUARE | 241.39m | 50s | Hines | WilkinsonEyre

This is the second tower that they're building right? They haven't copped out and cancelled it yet?
  11. D

    Toronto | 401 Bay Street | 143.86m | 33s | Cadillac Fairview | WZMH

Still in the minority camp thinking this was a huge improvement over the ugly brutalist structure that was underneath. The redo is not unique or stunning but it's bright and airy in comparison with its white and glass facade.

    Toronto | Sugar Wharf Condominiums (Phase 1) | 231m | 70s | Menkes | a—A

Where are you seeing the floor plans? Edit: nvm https://www.buzzbuzzhome.com/ca/sugar-wharf-condos--west-tower They build all these condos but the floor plan is absolute garbage, narrow units with low square footage. If you're charging $1600/sqft at least layout the units so that they're liveable.

    Toronto | Pinnacle One Yonge | 344.58m | 105s | Pinnacle | Hariri Pontarini

What they've built and the redesign theyve proposed are both disappointing, generic, and far from iconic. A shame for such a prominent waterfront location.
  14. D

    Toronto | 401 Bay Street | 143.86m | 33s | Cadillac Fairview | WZMH

well, it blends in, so theres that.
  15. D

    Toronto | TeaHouse 501 Yonge Condominiums | 170.98m | 52s | Lanterra | a—A

The generic window wall treatment on the north facade is pretty terrible.
  16. D

    Toronto | 11 YV | 213m | 62s | Metropia | Sweeny &Co

    The core is structural.
  17. D

    Toronto | Pinnacle One Yonge | 344.58m | 105s | Pinnacle | Hariri Pontarini

is this what we're seeing the supertall variant? Or is the thread title still misleading?
  18. D

    Toronto | PJ Condos | 156.96m | 48s | Pinnacle | Hariri Pontarini

This building is a nice visual change but still classifies as a "filler building".
