Initial reports are saying someone had flicked one or more cigarettes from a higher balcony, one of which landed on something flammable on a balcony a few floors below. I know a guy who woke up to his entire window being a wall of flames, and lost some furniture that was out on his balcony.

This project was bumped up to the top of the City of Burlington's developments page, which means there's been an update, but I can't for the life of me figure out what's changed here. No new documents, no change in numbers, no new renderings, and it's still under appeal to the OLT.

They should colour it, like the roundels in London. Red for subway, green for GO, etc. Problem solved (although they won't do that)

I do think they could be bigger and more clear, but I like the obelisks. You can all start yelling at me if you want, but the modern version of London's roundel took decades to become a universally-used symbol for the underground, and later all London transit. I haven't heard or seen anything either, so this is pure speculation, but maybe it's the opposite side of what you mentioned - they could be working on a resubmission to add height/floors.

Can confirm it's a stormwater pond. Collects water from the Spring Creek neighbourhood to the north, and drains into Grindstone Creek, which runs along the south side of this development.
