I think the best we will get is cobble-stone stamped concrete like we see along Spadina....at least some parts of Spadina. For contrast, I would love to see the Queens Quay tracks on a pinkish/red tinged concrete, with the grey cobblestones making up the pedestrian and bike path beside it.

I cant see that happening. Why would Canada's biggest Transit Hub not have a subway stop? Seems silly to me. There is merit to extending the subway further south, but there still needs to be a Union Station stop.

I used to have a south facing office on the 14th floor of 777 Bay (formerly the Hunter Mclean building). It had a lake view if you looked to the left. Directly in front was the Delta hotel, but there was still a lake view from floor 14.

There is already a Milestones on John Street in the RioCan building that houses the Scotiabank theatre and the Chapters. It's rather nice.

Dont forget the proposals for the Diesel Theatre, Gretsky's, further development of the parking lots surrounding Element, etc etc. Likely the parking lots surrounding the Westinghouse building (former location of the Indian Motorcycle club) will soon be developed as well.
