Thanks someMidTowner. I will be looking up at this building soon so... What is smoking in the background?

That's what I'm talking about sMT, pure art. Thank you. You even caught a little red ufo in that first picture.

Help me out here people. This thread is about the building, not the view. A lot of you guys have game so bring it. This morning.

It's very visible under the right conditions. dt_toronto_geek can tell you it's not a speck. L Iower residents will have to look for it. (OT)

I found another recent picture of Niagara Falls, a very different look.

This from this morning, the mobile crane is ready to go back to work on the bridge.

It is from the Coolpix. It's a real double A muncher but its lots of fun. I can't see Niagara Fall everyday and you don`t always get the mist. It was a treat for me to get that picture.

They used a mobile crane to assemble the first piece of bridge. On August 29th on page 105 of this thread, androiduk posted some nice pictures of the work. They assemble large truss segments on the ground and join them together in the air. Most tower cranes wouldn’t have the muscle to do it...

Thanks for that. My most recent camera is a NIKON Coolpix L610. It's quite affordable, just over $200 and the results aren't bad. Seems only fair to say that Udo suggested I look into the Coolpix camera. (Gently nudging me up from a camera phone)

Not just the cladding apparently. One has to wonder why the rest of the sky bridge is stalled. Pictures from Tuesday and Wednesday this week, the last of the tower cranes is loaded out.

It’s good to know you’re still paying the bills sMT. I took a few pictures this morning. From east of DVP. From Kingston Road up the hill a bit from Woodbine.

Where did you go someMidTowner? You and some others must be holding out on us. I wanted to share this before it gets left behind. Edit by Udo

I've never really known what's next and it often changes at the last minute when you think you do know. Clearly the L Tower will be a tough act to follow.

Fair enough. Operating a crane or other heavy machinery is no free ride. It's hard work but if you think you might have what it takes then you are in demand already. Go to the Operating Engineers Local 793 web site to learn more about operators and the school. In no time at all you will find...

Razz, your pictures are great. Keep them coming too. Take two random snaps from the 45th floor and Udo makes this for us. Too cool.

The top of the water tank is 61. I heard there was 70 tons of rebar for the 61 slab.
