    Cityplace vs. Y/E

You gotta love the Cityplace haters on these boards! Half of these things they say about CP aren't even true! There are tons of party people that live downtown, that's why its downtown. You are comparing Y/E (which I worked in the area for 3 years) and it is generally an older mature crowd...

+1. The parking/locker combo upgrade was definately worth the money ($3000). Anybody want to know what's in majic's locker? :)

My interim closing is this Friday so I received the Interm Statement of Adjustments from my lawyer today. The mantainance fee is grouped into a "Common Expenses" fee, which is $100+ over what I thought would be my main fee (44 cents per sq. ft). I don't have a break down of it yet so I can't...

It was posted as 44 cents a square foot on the agreement. But who knows now...

Are you talking about the cladding at the very top of the building? From what I've seen while driving past it on the Gardiner, the building has had glass on it for awhile and you can even see some of the finishes inside when the contractors leave the lights on.

You don't need a lawyer yet for the PDI. Concord assigns a rep to help you with the PDI. Eventhough they work for the builder, I find they were pretty helpful when it came my PDI at Luna.

Was able to book a "Look" appointment for this week. You get 15 min to review your suite and do what you need to do. We'll be double checking our measurements and also taking pictures of things we missed the first time around.

Doh! Thats not what I wanted to hear. I thought they would be half way through Luna Vista now. Majic: What's a "look" appointment and how do I book one? :D

You probably won't know for awhile. Don't worry about stuff like that, go look at some furniture. Btw: Which building are you in? I wonder how the PDIs are coming along with the Luna Tower.

Why purchase pre-construction condos at inflated price?

I believe you can indeed rent your unit out during occupancy phase. However, it might be only through the builder's rental agency.

PDI packages will probably be sent out very soon. You will get a letter that your interm occupancy date has been moved to May 2010 and PDI will start soon. When I got this for my Luna suite, the PDI package was sent a few weeks after.

Yeah, I meant baseboards. Lots of what looks like roller fibers left over. The walls didn't appear too bad but I really didn't get a chance to examine them too much. The fridge is an LG. Why does my fridge look bigger? Is it because we never got the "$3000 for a wooden door" upgrade?;)

Its all I could afford at the time so... Its not bad. Layout wise, they maximized the living room area while taking away from the bedroom area. I imagined the bedroom bigger but I would prefer a bigger living room area. Balcony is quite large. One of the major selling points...

No. Thats like asking a woman her age. 688 sq ft., 100 sq ft balcony.;)

Went for PDI today. Issues: -Lots of blemishes on cuboards in kitchen and washrooms. -Sloppy paint work on crown mouldings. -Stucco ceiling was very sloppy as well. -Gaps between laminate flooring and wall (some are pretty big) -Scratches and dents on laminate flooring. The Good...

Luna Condos (Concord CityPlace) - Real Estate -

No. Thats not why. Let's face it. Cityplace suites were built with investors in mind. Investors who purchase the building with intention of reselling them via assignment or rent them out. They generally do not care to pick out the interiors since they won't be living there themselves. Most...
