Sorry, but you will not able to stain laminate flooring. One of the advantages of laminate flooring is it doesn't stain...at all. If it really bothers you, you will need to gut out the entire floor and install new flooring with the colour of your choice. Is it worth it in my opinion? No...

The premium parking spaces (in the same building lot, close to elevators and integrated lockers) were $3000. If you did not upgrade, your parking spot and locker will be in the Montage lot. This is what I was told by the CP rep. Could have been a scare tactic to get you to upgrade? We...

Great pics Maj! I'm jealous how big your suite is! I'm a little disappointed that the bedroom closet door aren't made of transparent glass as it was shown in the demo suite. I also thought the flooring would be darker. The $3K parking upgrade was really worth it. :D

But are these "real" delays? I mean, can one really expect Concord or any other builder to finish a condo in 2.5 years from the time its being sold? I think 4-5 years is a more realistic completion time. However, its easier to sell units when you are advertising 2.5 years till you move in...

Thats just how CP works. Feb 28th, 2010? That means you would occupy before Luna owners do (March 2010).

Looks like Luna will follow suit which makes sense since it is totally unfair for lower level residents to move in and start paying Occupancy fees for a half ready building.

Until you actually buy one of them and realize that it will be a long four years before you move in. Bought in Spring 2006 and the letter says Occupancy March 2010.

This sucks. I bought a suite in the smaller Luna tower and of course was told by the Cityplace sales that NO tower was going to built in Block 31. Only a community centre. I guess there goes my lake view. Instead I get to look at a building of homeless people get to enjoy my view I paid for...

I'm not saying its the coolest place to be. But at least wait till construction is over, landscaping is done, the park is ready, pedestrian bridge built and the Sobeys actually open. By taking a picture on an overcast day when construction is ongoing and cranes are still up...is not giving...
