WTF Saxe deferred the item at Council. What's going on here?

Saxe had the recommendations amended to include a bunch of site plan conditions, which was then adopted.

Doesn't look like it will be anything like what BC legalized, sadly

Specifically, the application to amend the heritage on the site and enter into a heritage agreement was deferred so that it could go forward concurrent with the zoning by-law amendment that is apparently coming forward next month.

Really positive staff report for Heritage.

I really like that diagonal cut they added. Allows at least some light to get to rear units of the co-op building.

That looks like it would be a really tight turn to make it into the driveway from the lane. I think there is a long term plan to extend the lane south towards the lane parallel to Queen, between Northcote and Gladstone, when the Freshco property eventually redevelops. I can't imagine the condo...

I've always loved these two towers. I'm curious what they are like to live in from anyone who calls them home now or has in the past.
