Surface was really sketchy. Proposed a bunch of very decent condo buildings, claimed they were mostly sold out and then killed a few projects and switched a few to rental.

Their little map makes it look like it's river side, not Riverside Drive. That aside, looks better than the original proposal (was that RLA?)

Yeah, that's too bad. Potential development sites are getting pretty hard to come by. I imagine the Market proper is tough to redevelop because of stricter design standards and height limits. And, well, social issues. The LCBO site, I'm sure some of you know, is owned by Rimap who built the AC...

I know this one. Well, sort of. I believe the idea is to build a new parking lot so they can build the new research and office component in the old parking lot before demolishing the original complex. So that surface parking lot is in fact progress.

Had some worries about this project for a while, but it's turning out quite nicely. Definite step up from the AC Marriott.

Sooo close to completing it. It's really too bad Mizrahi was impacted to hard by the craziness of the last 4 years. Their designs were well above average.

We walk around last winter. A bit sterile. It was quite dead, with only a handful of people walking around. Still better than I expected. In a few years, with more people moving in and shops opening, it might get better.

Yeah. Tis makes it so much worse. Rendering showed a low-key, elegant building. The entire mechanical box and its signs absolutely ruins it.

Can't wait to see it bridged over the tracks. Too bad the City didn't bother widening the trench (and rebuilt Dow's Lake Station) while it was closed for 4 years. Not like they didn't know this was coming since 2017.
