Been here since 2006. Every year, it gets better and this development will take it up another notch. Clubs and bad resto/club hybrids are getting replaced with quality developments like this.
I too have reviewed the marketing material and it is indeed spectacular. It is likely too much info for most buyers but I appreciated every word. Since it will not be done until 2023, the hope as owners of these suites is that the market continues to climb and you hit the $/sq.ft. five years...
VIP Brokers are being told that the name of this project is now KING TORONTO. Marketing is ramping up. I am sure the Unzipped exhibition will be used for launch.
It is still an office building at Spadina/Front. KPMB is off the job and their tower has been scrapped. Pikard Chilton now in control of new tower design. Maybe that is why the Globe went east?
I hope this slows down, I'm hoping not to have to take possession until the fall (8th floor). Did anyone get any latest updates from Concert on their suite occupancy dates? I am worried mine was lost in the mail.
The unfortunate part about Parc Lofts is its location. It's almost like BJL put too much in that development for its location and the park to the east is overrated. Put that building on Wellington Street West and it would certainly get more buzz.
Hopefully, BJL can pick up some co-development...
Big news!
1. Adam Vaughan (see below) has just announced that the first peak of the new office building at the corner of Front/Spadina will be January 30th at a community consultation meeting. (I can just see the seedy looking guys in the audience pull out their phone cams and then spread the...
And this is the reason I bought with an east view.
A cotton candy condo is being toyed with on the west side!

A construction worker in his 50s has been rushed to hospital after falling down a hole while working on a construction site Thursday...
It will be past mid-2013 for sure. Likely Sept. 2013 at the earliest in my opinion for the lower floors, with the higher floors maybe even 2014. Yikes!
Weirdfishes,
You and I are in the same boat as I have the C1 unit which is similar in the sense of needing to create an island/seating area in front of the kitchen.
Recall this thread from before sales started...
The event space being planned is indoors - nothing like Dundas Square.
As for the decking over the railway, this comes about due to a potential separate project across the street for a development over the GO Transit storage yards (believe it or not) on "rights" owned by Canada Lands. Check out...
There is likely going to be some workshops with the neighbourhood to figure out what is best for the site. Perhaps a block plan of some sort.
Expect a mix of commercial, residential, and green space. Site is huge.
A new Globe and Mail building is coming soon to replace the Toyota dealership. KMPB is working on it and we should see some renderings in the New Year.
