It is still an office building at Spadina/Front. KPMB is off the job and their tower has been scrapped. Pikard Chilton now in control of new tower design. Maybe that is why the Globe went east?

It will be past mid-2013 for sure. Likely Sept. 2013 at the earliest in my opinion for the lower floors, with the higher floors maybe even 2014. Yikes!

There is likely going to be some workshops with the neighbourhood to figure out what is best for the site. Perhaps a block plan of some sort. Expect a mix of commercial, residential, and green space. Site is huge.

A new Globe and Mail building is coming soon to replace the Toyota dealership. KMPB is working on it and we should see some renderings in the New Year.
