Thank god I missed that. Was passing through Union TTC when the tweet came in that my Milton train was cancelled and without missing a beat got on the Subway. I'm so lucky that that's an option for me.

Everyone's asking "how many coffee shops does Union need?" when the question should be "how many can it support?" And it seems the answer is "more than there are now". Notwithstanding the terrible service at Timmie's that creates huge lineups at every location (it's not the volume that's the...

No fan of Karygiannis, but TBH I don't know the fare, and I ride transit every day. Just tap and go.

Which is annoying for me as my train is on track 4. Waiting behind people tapping for trains on 13+...

Or make them big enough to read, and redesign the screen layout - they're insanely hard to read.

We, too, live at 35. Sadly I think we'll have moved by the time Farm Boy opens though.

If you need a good burger there's a Wendy's literally across the street. And agreed, Dundas Grill missed an opportunity when they closed to "reno" this year.

I ate there once. I certainly won't be touching it again.

I was sure it was gone - but I haven't been to Eg in almost a year, so memory questionable at best.

Not sure I'd use "iconic". Pervasive, overpowering, consuming, combative, aggressive - I feel those are better words to describe the Cinnabon smell at Union (also when it was at Eglinton). I consider the smell from Cinnabon to be analogous with the Euro house music blasting from Stitches and...

Or if you're talking about what's in the foreground, that's the new raised accessibility platform.

I don't know that it'll be "by far" the longest - the Skywalk from the galleria to the exit at CN tower is just over 200 m. I know it doesn't really "connect" as it ends with an exit, but it's PATH and it's pretty long.

    Toronto Toronto | Kipling Station Transit Hub | ?m | 2s | Metrolinx | SAI

In practical terms, as a resident, it's essentially one more or less contiguous construction site from Pinnacle to Islington, with Pinnacle, KIP 2, Kipling Hub, Dundas/Auckland, Six Points rebuild, then Islington Terrace. It's truly a nightmare as a resident, and terribly unsafe as a pedestrian...
