I live a block away and the noise from the drilling is nightmarish. I can't even imagine what it must be like for the poor bastards living in the apartments pictured above.

This is a strange one. They dug a lot, filled it all in, and then dumped off a big load of steel girders. You would think they would still be digging the foundation, not filling in what they dug out.

Living in the Spire it's also going to be a devastating loss to my view.

They've been running some noisy machinery 24/7 all weekend which I can't say I'm super happy about living at the Spire.

I couldn't believe that article mentioned a possible heritage designation for the LCBO warehouse! Wow. That butt ugly building from the 50s does not deserve heritage protection. Hopefully that was just someone speculating. Otherwise will be nice to see the proposals for this site. Wonder if...
