The podium material looks so cheap. Hope they come to their senses and change it. It's not suitable for the area and for a building that was selling well above $700 a square foot.

Tridel conducts market research focus groups with their purchasers to get detailed feedback... and the purchasers are compensated for their time.

I think people are too hard on this project. Everything about this building and location has so much going for it... which makes the price reasonable in my opinion.

Isn't it better for the overall condo market that buildings like this don't get built? If all buildings are actually built that are planned to launch for the ED then there will be a big problem with oversupply. There's already too much.

I couldn't disagree with you more... with this being part of a master planned City of Toronto project it is very safe. I think people don't understand the value there is in the podium units here. The tower units are $100/sgft more than the podium but it is justifiable as you get a guaranteed...

Judging by how really nice Reve turned out and with the same design team working on this, I'm hugely excited about how this one will turn out. 300 should be even nicer (inside and out).

Lack of sun light may be an issue for this unit (which is why the price is so good). The windows are smaller than average loft units. If this unit gets direct sun light it would be a huge positive...

I think this is a great building and Tridel's best as well. Amenities look amazing. The concierge is virtual during the day - really interesting and cool feature. I think 300 Front will be on par with this and 10 York will even better.

One positive thing about Monde only being 40% sold out is that it appears the initial release was not tremendously bought by a lot of investors - which allows for a lot of time for true end users to buy into the building. Monde's pricing in the podium is at $600/sqft, Rivercity's prices were...

One of my business partners bought a 1 bedroom + den with 1.5 washrooms. There's a strong possibility I will buy the same type of unit in the near future.

Cinema's podium looks pretty good. This one looks pretty blad all over. Hoping for good retail in both of these. Any ideas of what kind of retail can be expected here? Is there a big space for retail here? Cinema seems to be pretty decently sized.
