    Toronto Toronto | 477 Mount Pleasant Road | 47.3m | 12s | The Muzzo Group | Rafael + Bigauskas

For all the trash talk of this project, from touring units and amenities here, this building has much higher build quality than all the condos that popped up nearby since, and has aged better than some projects that are not even 5 years removed from completion. Also, despite the lack of retail...

    Toronto Toronto | 477 Mount Pleasant Road | 47.3m | 12s | The Muzzo Group | Rafael + Bigauskas

As a local to the area, of all the houses and buildings that I would wish torn down for new residential housing, this site would have been near very bottom of that list. Next, if we really must tear down this building then a hulking midrise structure would not be my dream scenario. The site has...

    Hamilton Toronto | 213 King Street West | 94.3m | 30s | Vrancor Development | ZO1

Officially confirmed anywhere, or is Vrancor Group still pulling off that shady business of passing off this project as a hotel?

    Toronto Toronto | 45 Strachan | 131.97m | 39s | BGO | Hariri Pontarini

Quite an optimistic assumption that a recladding would result in visual improvement.

The Mesopotamians probably lined those step-backs with gardens, whereas we prefer concrete.

    Toronto Toronto | Cavo Condominiums | 85.19m | 26s | Minto Group | Wallman Architects

Also flipped to rental according to the resubmission.

    Mississauga Toronto | Stak36 | ?m | 48s | Oxford Properties | Arcadis

This project is still called "Condominiums at Square One". "Stak36" is just the marketing name for the new release of the upper three penthouse levels.

If only you could plant mature trees in front to cover it up.

    Toronto Toronto | Concord Canada House | 231.97m | 74s | Concord Adex | Arcadis

This is an insane amount of density about to occupy and begin to impact local retail and services. Just think about how many residents here may use Bikeshare daily on an already over-strained part of the system!

    Toronto Toronto | 88 Queen | 167.35m | 52s | St Thomas Dev | Hariri Pontarini

Doesn't seem like this one will meet it's November 2024 occupancy date based on remaining progress.

    Toronto Toronto | One Delisle | 155m | 44s | Slate | Studio Gang

We'll need the Davisville TTC yards to be decked over and have five-to-eight 50-storey or larger towers placed ontop of it. Which, isn't a stupid idea, development math notwithstanding.

    Toronto Toronto | 88 Bathurst | 68.3m | 17s | Hines | 3XN

Just a minor correction, but this is purpose-built rental, not a condo.

There's a time and place for everything. I was once a student who relied on McDonald's coffee and breakfast sandwiches. I would not go to McDonald's today unless it is a last resort option, but that doesn't mean there shouldn't be one readily available as an option.

Cranes in the GTA (first 4 posts regularly updated)

https://storeys.com/toronto-crane-count-on-rise/ "Though RLB reports that Toronto now has 83 cranes, they also note that they have implemented a "revised radius" for the city that focusses only in the downtown core — 3.5km from the Bloor Street West and Avenue Road center — "which has the...

    Toronto Bike Share

What is the correct email address to reach in contact with them for station suggestions? Because I have been emailing bike share and the local councilors for three years now about nearby spots in the area located on city property and have only received the token "thank you for your suggestion"...

    Toronto Bike Share

Seems like they should install a replacement station nearby (even if temporary) rather than removing a station that creates a significant station desert in a central area. Or have such a concentration of stations in said central area to begin with so the temporary removal of one does not create...
