    I personally can't be optimistic in this case, due to the societal norms we seem to have now accepted. This isn't just an Edmonton issue, Edmonton just getting hit hard by it unfortunately. Too big of a woke movement in too short of a period, normalizing drug use and defunding the police...

    Damn lol... They couldn't just build the last iteration but with no CRU? That design is just so unacceptable. CRU honesetly, I could care less. We don't need retail that sits empty for years and has an even worse impact on the vibrancy of the street.

How much of an incentive will piss off people for government funding private investment? Should we blame Smith for choosing hotels over shools...
