Yes, it most definitely can happen anywhere. But the impact and size of damages are far less when you have a shorter building.

Damn lol... They couldn't just build the last iteration but with no CRU? That design is just so unacceptable. CRU honesetly, I could care less. We don't need retail that sits empty for years and has an even worse impact on the vibrancy of the street.

I get that every bit helps, but we can't blame government for not providing an incentive. How much of an inventive should there be to make people happy? How much of an incentive will piss off people for government funding private investment? Should we blame Smith for choosing hotels over shools...

Why is anyone to blame? If investors believe this market will return a profit on building a hotel, they will do so. Pretty simple, if YOU believe it, then please fork out $80,000,000 for all us to enjoy seeing another tower in the Beltline. If a government incentive is the make-or-break point...
