Alas, not so far, but I'm curious too as I haven't yet tried everything & don't commute so need an excuse to go there. Having said that, of those that I've tried, Kibo & Shanghai 360 have not disappointed me, while Paramount did (taste was fine, but amount for the price was not great).
Okay, I know this is off topic, but it's too funny not to share. The first time my father tried to come up with an email address, he was inspired by his favourite TV show as a kid, The Little Rascals. When I told him that was perhaps not the best, he decided on a second based on having taken...
I would fully support a move towards using "kei" trucks in Toronto for garbage pick-up, emergency vehicles, & some suitable construction uses ("kei" designation = an engine of 660cc or less). Note the Japanese government does play a role in encouraging their use as they intentionally tax kei...
Omigod omigod omigod! My old favourite Second Cup location near St. Lawrence Market that sadly became a cannabis dispensary for a bit is going to be a coffee shop again! Will have to update again once it's open to report on it's "cozy" status.
I believe you are asking about the Canary House. I don't think any of us know why they chose to paint it, but perhaps the answer will eventually appear on this thread:

I visited Goderich recently. It was cute, historic and had at least one small decent art gallery that also sold supplies. Also, the Huron County history museum was awesome! (So eclectic - they even had Victorian human hair art!)
It also has an interesting old gaol museum, lots of trails for...
My pics from yesterday. We were around Queen's Quai & Farm Boy too, so I wonder if I passed Northern Light without realising!

Yeah, it's still quite big. I hope it can be broken up into smaller buildings of mixed use and some of it could still be underground (but mainly on the Ex side, not the OP side).
Great reference for comparison. But I think they need 2700 spots for the OP anchor tenants not 5000.
There are some surface spots at OP that will remain, so if they go with building the parkade within the Ex, they would need something very comparable in size to the Bramalea GO parkade...
No, the dump truck didn't swerve into the bike lane, so the root cause was not the dump truck. The cyclist swerved due to a dumpster not the dump truck. We don't know that the dump truck driver didn't see her or was driving too fast as that wasn't discussed on the news.
I agree with you that it's odd it needs to be a 99.99% empty asphalt surface parking lot for most of the year. Do you happen to know if there is a reason it has to be just asphalt? Could it not be grass or perhaps they could roll in-roll out more planters during non-CNE times? They're not even...
Wasn't the Ex looking into adding more restaurants, cafes & retail into their grounds anyway to encourage more walkability & all-season (not just CNE) use? What if we combine some of the ideas presented here and push for retail & restaurants at ground level & rooftop (with parking in between)...
Sure showering might be easier, but I'm surprised no one's mentioned using disposable body wipes. Simple and easily portable, or you can leave a package at work. Heck, even a small facecloth that you can wash in the sink then hang inconspicuously in your office/cubicle would work.
