According to DMAP there was a DP released for addition of child care service, elevated outdoor play area and covered parking along with changes to waste and recycling services on site. So maybe they are replacing the parking lot with structured parking with the play area on top of it?

I'd love to see a lot more projects of this scale in the vicinity of Chinook. I am sure the towers will come someday, but for now it's nice to see a critical mass of new development, and people, in the area with these midrise developments.

I'd say that this is pretty strong evidence that they are now moving forward. I really don't know what else they'd be doing there? If Imperia is indeed now moving forward with construction, I promise to stop whining about the lack of highrise construction in Calgary for the rest of the year.

Yeah we definitely need more cranes in this town. I remember times when we've had well over 50 cranes up at a time. The population boom we are in right now hasn't translated into a lot of large construction projects like it has in the past, hopefully that starts to change in the fall.

Agreed. I think they should have went with all mesh, the windows to me just look "off" compared to the rest of the design. They also don't appear nearly as prominent in the renderings.
