According to the rendering there will be 3 lanes of traffic each way plus the lrt lanes plus an on ramp and a side walk so I'm guessing there is enough room under the existing bridge so they don't have to make it wider. Which would make sense why they are doing the RBR

No pictures but they have fenced off and have equipment staged at the north-east and south-west sections of the Highway 400 on-ramps for the bridge replacement. Edit: 8/29/2019 site clearing has begun!

Excavation looks done but no sight of concrete or tower cranes yet. They are definitely taking their time, the front of the primo tower still isn't landscaped yet.

With the amount of rain we had this year I don't think we even need those bags lol (maybe that's why they aren't filling them?). On another note they did plant a bunch of trees at the local park with these bags and I did see crews filling them up once every 2-3 weeks last summer but I don't...

I hope your right this area could use a boost. The two BIA's (Duke Heights and Emery Village) on the corridor should have their streetscape designs that "exceed current city standards" so I hope they don't cheap out on it. It'll be interesting to see each neighbourhood have it's own identity...

Quick update (no pics), drove by and shoring rig and excavator is now on site so looks like some movement on Phase 2 is imminent.
