There are a bunch of lawn signs around the area along finch calling for "subways not LRT" "commutor chaos" and "call Mayor Tory" etc. I didn't snap any pics. There also a bigger sign telling people to go to this meeting at islington and steeles. It seems that this project may be in jeopardy...

Was also looking at the 400 south exit, it seems to get backed up a decent amount, the new configuration does help a bit by adding 2 left turn lanes to arrow rd, but I wonder if it would make sense to have a stub exit go to Signet through the hydro fields kinda like the york U busway perhaps...

I've seen those building permits for a while, not sure why it's taking so long, passed by today and I can confirm the site still looks the same as these google street view images from Sept 2017. Thier site has been showing "Construction will start soon" for almost a year now.

I had a guess looking from some of the maps from Metrolinx that a couple buildings would be demolished in the expropriation process, it appears we have the first casualty. streetview My guess is that a partial demo of a store or two from Finchdale mall (2512 Finch) where the community...

I stopped by that office last week and they had the renderings posted and they had a little card pamphlet with general info and pens available. The one person I talked to said they expect to start construction this spring.
