This is my experience as well. If you're serving great coffee, drinks or brunch in this city it seems to be packed.

Nothing that a highway toll couldn't fix ;)

I stopped reading at "just as I had predicted". I will start with "I'm really happy to see this".

Growlery space is what and where?

The description makes it very clear that they're retiring.

Valley Line LRT | TransEd/Marigold | City of Edmonton

...call me crazy but I think this looks nice

    . I couldn't agree more.

    Edmonton | 103 Avenue & 123 Street | ?m | ?s | Averton

As a resident of the area in question, I personally would have no problem with it transforming into something like the area around Government Centre station. That area is lovely, towers included.

Good luck with that... if we can't built tall here then where should we?

Valley Line LRT | TransEd/Marigold | City of Edmonton

Highly doubtful - but within the bell curve of possibilities.

Nosh seems to like locating themselves immediately across the street from Remedy (which doesn't both me since they sell the same chai at a much lower price)

    Calgary | Green Line LRT | ?m | ?s | Calgary Transit

My immediate thought when I saw the Province muck with the alignment? If I lived in the Beltline, I would be absolutely gutted that the Centre Street stop was axed. This cuts so much utility in a the best example of pedestrian realm on the prairies.

Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) in Edmonton

Absolutely the #1 need, even if only between the LRT lines.

Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) in Edmonton

With Calgary's Green Line in chaos - the vibe seems to feel like BRT will be the only feasible way forward with this government (if at all).

    Edmonton Real Estate Market

Interesting take - with the LRT connecting both so efficiently

Can you cool it just a little bit? Ever since you started posting here, the tone of the forums has taken a much more aggressive tone. I've yet to mute anyone over the years but I'm getting there. This isn't Reddit.

    Bolded. Because that's correct.

    Edmonton | The Shift | 113.08m | 38s | Edgar | MCM Partnership

Sorry, not to go on and on. I'm not asking why these projects weren't cancelled. I'm asking what changed in the economics that shifted highrise projects from greenlit (aka. forecasted as the most profitable form), to sidelined in favor of 6'ish stories. Make sense?

Thank you, and this is roughly what I understood. My question is more what CHANGED relative to the recent phase of high rise construction.
