I can see this in Japan where available land can be scarce but it's a really bad idea here. Fog, lake effect snow, and cost are just a couple of things that immediately spring to mind. With so much land available, I can't see this as even a remote possibility.

The complete rebuild of this section of The Collegeway is finally complete. On an overcast Sunday afternoon the new asphalt, sidewalks, curbs and pavement markings create quite the contrast. South Common Mall is visible in the background

Time constraints prevented me from heading up Square One way after work on Sunday so all I could manage to shoot was the QEW to the Queensway area. First photo is of Hurontario/South Service rd. Queensway intersection Looking north at Queensway Looking South

I need to make a trip back to this area for a fly over.

November 17th update

Looking north on Hurontario at The Queensway. LRT track installation through the intersection has been completed.

Photos from my November 17th flight will be posted soon but the hoisting of two cranes at this site is appears to be imminent.

Nasty, miserable afternoon today but I managed a couple of flights totaling 31 minutes and 11.4km flown. M3 on the left and Exchange Towers on the right really stand out on the MCC skyline.

Yeah, it was more of an observation from a west ender than anything else. Over the last year the site seems to have deliberately shifted in a more easterly direction.

UT doesn't seem to care about anything west of the Humber, judging by the photo of the day posts, from oh, say the last year or more.

Would i even notice if Canada Post went on strike? Nope.

I've done more than 4000m distance with the Mini3pro and the older, RC-N1 controller. Even the my older Mini2 would come close to that in the right environment. Downtown core is definitely not going to be that environment with all the obstructions. If you've got a good, clear line of sight you...

You haven't lived until the aircraft is more than 3100m away from you, the "Aircraft may not have enough power to return home" message is displayed and you nurse it back until it is still several hundred metres away from you and the dreaded forced landing begins while you still have a refinery...
