The Islington Towns (Islington/Six Points Road, 3s, Dunpar Homes)

More Dunpar in South Etobicoke. http://www.dunparhomes.com/communities/active-developments/the-islington/ They must be on the small side, similar to Westwood. Project description says "up to 1800 square feet". Dunpar towns are usually in the 2,000 square foot range.

I believe the parking is underground here. Cool feature that I've seen in a few other townhome developments.

Typical Dunpar townhomes... right down to the small hexagon windows in the front. :(

Westwood Towns (3879 Bloor St West, Dunpar, 3s)

I wonder if this will spark more development along this stretch. Jopling, Acorn and Poplar (between Bloor and Dundas) are great development opportunities. These streets are a short walk to Kipling subway/GO. They are lined with mostly very small bungalows, many look as though they have never...

I lived here for several years. The buses are noisy but you get used to it. Also, I think this is easier accept as typical city noise. The most frequent complaint I heard from people in these buildings were the noise from the freight trains/Go trains. Freight trains would run through all...

Hullmark Centre Condos (Tridel) - Real Estate -

I could see someone getting seriously injured loading or emptying that oven above which is right at the entrance. Horrible floor plan!

    Main Square (Main & Danforth, Talisker, 15 + 32s, G+C)

I agree. Hopefully Danforth between Donlands and Vic Park will be an area developers focus on in the years to come. Lots of potential there. Height is not necessary in this stretch either. Some nice mid-rises along here will create more foot traffic and revitalize the area.

This thread can move to low-rise.

And this will be walking distance from the one at Montgomery and Bloor. It will probably look exactly like it.

I just hope it doesn't resemble the precast used on the towers Tridel is building at Bloor/427. Those renders gave the same impression as the 1 + 2 Old Mill renders. See below.

Danforth Line 2 Scarborough Subway Extension

If the extension goes up McCowan, won't the redevelopment opportunities be far greater than where the RT is currently situated? The RT was too far off the main roads in my opinion.
