This was actually the photo I had planned to post today before I got sidetracked with that photo history business

Those guys on the MD11 never stood a chance with it detaching right at V-R. AA191 was such a terrible crash. A little more than a decade later when I started working on the AA DC10s at YYZ, I'd look at those massive engines and think how horrifying it was the for the passengers and witnesses...

I wonder how long N252UP will be stuck at Vista cargo? It has been there since November 7th when the AD grounded the Md11 type. I don't quite understand the grounding of the DC10s in addition to the MD11s. The DC10 are much higher time air frames, albeit with lighter engines than the MD11. You...

Well that's a relief. I can leave the dinghy at home then.

I don't think either of those two aircraft are etops certified or over water ready so to speak. Aside from that, nobody should be operating E295s or A220s on flights that long as the economics are just suicidal. Unit costs climb like a homesick angel and those aircraft are best suited short...

Interestingly, both Qantas and Singapore served YYZ in the past. Singapore ran 747-400s a couple of times a week starting in June of 1991 through Europe. I know one was via Amsterdam but I can't recall if the other was Frankfurt or Vienna. It didn't last long after Air Canada whined. AC had...

    Toronto Pearson International Airport

I'd take an A321XLR any day of the week over any widebody (or anything for that matter) that rolls out of a Boeing plant in Seattle or Charleston. Faster boarding and deplanement times, better bag times, likely better seat to curbside times; I'd love to take one across the pond. Boeing has been...

Problems posting photos the last few days

Ok, so I just tried again and was able to upload jpegs. I'm not sure what to make of this problem. It worked late yesterday, I tried to upload today just after lunch and it failed, and now it worked again!

Lots of heat haze from 4400metres away but looks like they have made significant progress since my last shot. I'll have to send the Mini3pro up in the coming days.

I'm wondering if this is dimensional. I can post JPG from my Nikon P950 (iceberg below), Nikon D300 (image below the ice berg) and my Samsung S23 phone (not shown) but nothing from my Dji Mini3Pro, DJI Phantom4 Pro, or DJI Mini2.

I don't think it is lightroom specific since I don't use it. I literally just post the image that comes off the card with no post processing at all.

I thought about using Chrome as a test but couldn't find my UT password and didn't want to reset it for essentially a one time use. Thanks for providing some additional info @TwinHuey. At least we know it doesn't seem to be browser/OS specific. When I uploaded the PNG file, it behaved...

So I can take the exact same photo, save it as a PNG file in whatever the stock Windows11 photoviewer is and it will upload. If I try it as a jpeg, it fails.
